Teach your children what we have taught our children, the earth is our mother. This we know. The earth does not belong to humans, humans belong to the earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites one family. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth. People did not weave the web of life; they are merely a strand of it. Whatever they do to the web, they do to themselves.

The GreenFaith Certification Program empowers congregations to transform our houses of worship into environmental leaders in society.
Protect Creation: From eco-themed worship services, to “greening” of buildings, congregations are making significant changes to conserve natural resources and raise awareness about environmental issues.
Save Money: While action steps are designed to be no-cost, they often lead to big savings.
Foster Relationships: The steps we take to enact environmentally responsible practices help to grow inter-generational and interfaith relationships.
Learn Together: Resources, including webinars and a virtual community space, help us to learn and educate others about the ways that we can impact our environment in positive ways.

Join the team! If you are interested in getting involved with the GreenFaith Team, send us an email at the church office.
We welcome your donations! Tuition for the GreenFaith Certification program is $1,000. There is also some expense in carrying out our initiatives, so we welcome your special contributions. Simply mark “GreenFaith” on your check and place it in the offering basket during worship or mail it to the church office. Of course, we expect to save money in the long-run by improving our stewardship of God’s creation!
