Begins Wednesday, April 22 at 7:30 pm. What do we do now? What do we do with all we’ve been through? These may be questions we are asking ourselves. They are also the questions that the followers of Jesus asked themselves in the aftermath of the crucifixion and resurrection.
Working through these questions is what we see the disciples doing in the Book of Acts. Please join Bill and Brenda Ehlers as we look at the work of the followers of Jesus. We have long been interested in these stories because they show followers trying all kinds of ways to do ministry; they are compelling characters who we identify with in many ways (especially their imperfection) and they end up creating faith communities that work well for the people in their place and time.
We will gather on Zoom at 7:30 pm on five Wednesdays beginning April 22nd for about an hour using the Disciple “Fast Track” study. We will share a participant guide and videos that you can use on your own or watch with us as a group.
Sunday mornings at 9:30 am Bill Ehlers will resume the Sunday morning discussion group for everyone (HS and older). This Sunday, we will begin with art. What artists are speaking to your spirit at this time? Poets, musicians, visual artists, spoken word . . . please share with us the art that is bringing you hope, or helping you lament, or reflecting your feelings. How and are these artists speaking to you?
