Students in middle school and high school are invited to join Youth Choir, which rehearses Wednesday Evenings from 6:45pm-7:45pm.
This is a fun and dynamic hour working with professional Broadway actress Kristin Carbone.
The atmosphere is relaxed but engaging as students benefit from a group voice lesson, share pizza, and prepare contemporary selections to sing at worship and the annual Candlelight Carols service.
The Handbell Choirs are welcome for all students starting in 4th grade. Heavenly Handbells is open to students through grade 7; aPealing Bells is open to interested students by director’s permission.
Guitarists, drummers, bassists, and keyboard players are invited to become part of the Praise Band. They are also welcome to join JYF Jams to help lead their selections (see above.)
Players of band and orchestral instruments are invited to join the Intergenerational Orchestra.
Students in grades 4-8 are invited to perform in Morrow Musical Theatre Camp (MMTC), held in August of each year. Students in grades 9 and up (including college students and adults) are invited to become team members supporting and directing the MMTC production effort. The Worship Arts Chorus presents a biblically-themed musical during worship each spring. Students grades 4-7 are invited to act, sing, and dance in this show.
