Sisters in Faith, open to women of all ages, offers women a time to come together for conversation, study, and support.
Typically, group meetings are organized around open discussions in which we share our thoughts on a selected source book. We talk about the weekly readings as well as share our own experiences.
In each meeting, there is time for concerns, joys, and prayer. Through it all, we support each other, journey together, and come closer to God.
The group also spends a few Thursdays each year in service, such as making food together for the Bessie Green Community in Newark. We also make occasional trips together, such as walking the labyrinth in Montclair, NJ.
The Monday evening group, led by Dawn Pemberton meets Monday evenings, from September to June, from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. in the Second Mile Room.
The Thursday morning group meets Thursday mornings, from September to June, from 9:30am-11:00am in the Media Center.
