Our after-school tutoring program offers 3rd- and 4th-graders STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) enrichment as well as homework help, games, and snacks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school.
Each week, guided by our volunteer tutors, our students work hard to fill their minds with important knowledge to help them succeed in school and in life.
The program is broken into 3 eight-week sessions (September-December, January-April, and April-June). We ask volunteers to commit for a minimum of 8 weeks. We’ll provide training in how to give homework help and do fun STEM activities with students.
Looking for more ways to help?
Fuel our students’ learning by filling their stomachs with tasty treats! We welcome snacks like pretzels, citrus fruit, cookies, and water (no juice, please).
We also need donations of tablets or laptops because the district’s math curriculum is online. If you have a laptop or tablet you’re no longer using, please consider donating it to our program. (Click here to see the specifications needed to run ST Math.)
