Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF)

JYF is an inclusive group for middle school students (grades 6-8) that explores issues of meaning and faith. We spend time in conversation, having fun, sharing together and acting on our call to love and care for our neighbors, near and far. We welcome students of all faiths, questioning faith or no faith who are willing to journey with us as we explore together.

The weekly JYF gatherings provide an opportunity for students to get together with friends (new and old) on Fridays.

In a safe and fun setting, students help support organizations and individuals through service. These have included park clean-ups, making decorations with residents at a senior center, and making lunches for people who are food insecure. We also explore important issues of faith and justice through hands-on activities.

Each JYF gathering also includes lots of games, snacks and time for creativity and play. See the schedule below for an overview of our programs, and visit the church calendar to register and for specific time and location information.
