Weekly Meetings & Special Events
Every Sunday | 7:00–8:30 PM | Morrow Church Media Room
MYF gathers weekly during the academic year for meaningful, faith-based activities and plenty of fun along the way. These meetings offer time to connect, ask big questions, and plan upcoming service and fundraising projects.
Throughout the year, we also host a variety of special events and traditions that build community and bring joy, including:
• Fall Corn Maze Adventures
• Holiday Scavenger Hunt & Christmas Party
• Christmas Shopping for MEND (supporting local families)
• Pancake Breakfast and Tacos & Talent Show fundraisers
• Participation in the South Orange–Maplewood Youth Interfaith Holocaust Memorial Service
MYF is open to all high school students, whether you attend Morrow, another faith community, or aren’t sure where you fit yet. It’s a welcoming space for youth from Morrow and beyond to grow in faith, friendship, and purpose.

Annual Pilgrimage
Each year over Spring Break (aligned with Columbia High School’s calendar), MYF embarks on a week-long pilgrimage grounded in three core values: education, service, and faith. These immersive trips are deeply meaningful and memorable, often funded through group-led efforts and always focused on some sort of social justice.
This year (April 12–18), we’re heading to New Mexico to explore the history, rights, and resilience of Native American communities in the Southwest.
Past pilgrimages have included:
• The Deep South (studying the Civil Rights Movement)
• Puerto Rico (studying environmental justice and fair allocation of resources during hurricane recovery efforts)

Christian Outreach Project (C.O.P.)
Every summer, MYF joins youth from United Methodist churches across North Jersey for C.O.P., a week-long sleepaway service camp run by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Participants learn hands-on construction skills while repairing homes and supporting families in need.
It’s an incredible opportunity to serve others, grow in faith, and experience the power of community.
Registration for C.O.P. 2025 (June 22-28) is now open. Sign up here!
